Position: AM Product Quality Assurance

Location: Rahim Yar Khan

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Soil Science, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates with a PhD qualification will be given preference.
Professional Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.

Overall Responsibilities:

Safety and Operations:

Ensure safe and injury-free operations within the laboratory.
Maintain the health and performance of lab equipment through regular calibration and maintenance.

Training and Coordination:

Coordinate training for lab staff to ensure precise and safe analytical work.
Oversee transparent sample collection and delivery processes to the lab.

Analysis and Reporting:

Ensure efficient Basic Analytical Zone (BAZ) analysis and timely reporting to the operations team.
Monitor adherence to Pakistan Standard SOPs and conduct critical daily report reviews.

Communication:

Effectively communicate with management and other departments regarding laboratory issues.

Sample and Record Management:

Manage post-analysis sample storage and maintain comprehensive analytical records.
Maintain inventory of chemicals, glassware, plasticware, and broken items.

Key Job Functions:

Laboratory Safety and Equipment Maintenance:
Implement and monitor safety protocols to prevent injuries and accidents in the lab.
Ensure all lab equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.
Staff Training and Development:
Develop and coordinate training programs for lab staff to enhance their analytical skills and ensure safety compliance.
Provide continuous guidance and support to lab personnel to maintain high standards of work.
Sample Management and Quality Control:
Oversee the process of sample collection, ensuring transparency and accuracy in delivery to the lab.
Manage the analysis of samples, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely reporting of results.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Ensure all lab activities comply with Pakistan Standard SOPs.
Conduct regular reviews of SOPs and ensure they are up to date with the latest industry standards.
Inventory and Record Keeping:
Maintain a detailed inventory of all lab supplies, including chemicals, glassware, and equipment.
Ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping of all analytical data and sample information.
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain effective communication channels with management, operations teams, and other departments to address lab-related issues.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
