1. WASH Engineer
As a WASH Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and monitoring water, sanitation, and hygiene projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting needs assessments, developing project plans, and ensuring that all WASH initiatives are sustainable and meet the needs of the communities we serve. You will work closely with local stakeholders, government agencies, and other partners to ensure that our projects are effective and impactful.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies for WASH projects
- Develop detailed project plans and budgets
- Oversee the implementation of WASH projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of WASH initiatives
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to ensure projects meet their needs
- Provide technical support and training to local staff and partners
Qualifications:
- A degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in WASH project management
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders
2. MEAL Coordinator
The MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation systems to track the progress and impact of our projects. You will ensure that data is collected, analyzed, and used to inform project planning and decision-making. Your role will also involve promoting accountability and learning within the organization, ensuring that our projects are continually improving and delivering the best possible outcomes for the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement MEAL frameworks and systems
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities
- Collect and analyze data to assess project performance and impact
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization
- Ensure accountability to beneficiaries and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- A degree in social sciences, development studies, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the development sector
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
