For the following positions in the PSDP Project—the Pakistan Bio-safety Clearing House for GMOs Regulation, the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency, the Govt Pakistan Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination Jobs 2023 is accepting applications from Pakistani nationals. These positions are available on a strictly contract basis for a year, renewable for an additional year, or until the project is completed.

1. National Project years Manager (PPS-9 equivalent to BS-19)
Ph. D / M.Phil or equivalent in Agriculture Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Genetic Engineering/ Biological Sciences/Agriculture 12 years experience in BS 17 or above in Govt./ Semi-Govt./ Reputable Organization. Experience in Biotechnology/ Biosafety related assignments, knowledge of relevant MEAs, national regulations
2. Deputy Director BCH(Admin & Finance) (PPS 8 equivalent to BS-18)
Second Class or Grade C Masters in Public/ Business Admin., Project Management, Agriculture, Economics, M. Com or other relevant discipline recognized by HEC 7 years’ experience in BS 17 or above in Govt./ Semi-Govt./ reputable organization. Experience in the admin/ finance related job M.Phil/M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Genetic Engineering/ Biological Sciences/Agriculture 5 years experience in BS 17 or above in Govt./ Semi-Govt./ Reputable Organization
3. Deputy Director years BCH (Technical) (PPS-8 equivalent to BS-18)
M. Sc./ M. Phil in Agri Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/Genetic Engineering/ Biological Sciences or relevant 02 years experience in Govt./ Semi-Govt./ Reputable Organization Experience in Biotechnology/ Biosafety related job preferred

Second class BS degree in Microbiology Biochemistry Biological Sciences Agriculture Practical knowledge of biosafety, biotechnology, and genetic engineering Understanding of lab techniques
11. Accountant (PPS-5)
Degree in Commerce, B.Com, Finance & Banking Two-year experience related to accounts/ Finance
12. Stenotypist (PPS-5)
Graduate (B. A/B. Sc.)Second Class 80/40 Shorthand/Typing speed per minute, Computer knowledge and data entry/upload skills are a must. Urdu typing skills would be given additional weightage.
13. Field Assistant years (PPS-4)
BS Biological Sciences Agriculture, Env. Sciences, Microbiology, or relevant Knowledge of research techniques IT skills, data retrieval, collection, and dissemination
