As a federal autonomous body, IRSA is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of regulating and monitoring the distribution of Indus waters in line with the Water Apportionment Accord-1991.
Job Description:
As the Chief Engineer (Operation), you will be responsible for:
- Strategizing and overseeing the planning, design, and operation of dams, irrigation systems, and hydraulic works to ensure optimal water management.
- Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborating with government agencies, stakeholders, and local communities to address water resource challenges and ensure sustainable development.
- Conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and environmental impact assessments to inform decision-making processes.
- Implementing innovative technologies and best practices to enhance the efficiency and resilience of water infrastructure.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- A B.E/B.Sc in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
- Aged up to 50 years.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a master’s degree or other post-graduation qualifications in Hydraulics & Irrigation Engineering.
- A minimum of 17 years of experience in Planning, design, or Operation of Dams, Irrigation System, or Hydraulic works.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University by HEC.
- Aged between 25 to 35 years.
- Three years of experience in Irrigation/Hydraulics Engineering work.
