Responsibilities

As an Assistant Engineer-Network, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Repair and Maintenance of Communication Systems

• Assist engineers in repairing and maintaining communication system equipment.
• Supervise the quality of communication equipment repair and maintenance.
• Organize equipment acceptance.

Communication Equipment Management

• Assist in the replacement and debugging of communication equipment.
• Complete daily maintenance and inspection of communication lines.
• Record the status of spare lines and repair damaged lines.

Documentation and Inventory

• Maintain communication line maintenance general table, equipment ledger, inventory, drawings, files, experiment reports, and other materials.
• Assist in creating a spare parts procurement plan.

Technical Support

• Troubleshoot and maintain on-site low-voltage electrical faults.
• Resolve, repair, and install fiber optics systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of fiber optics systems.

Fiber Optics Maintenance

• Examine and replace faulty and old fiber optic cables.
• Organize scheduled maintenance routines.

Cabling Management

• Execute premises cabling.
• Manage underground and underwater cabling requirements.

Additional Tasks

• Complete other tasks assigned by seniors.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunication, Network, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using fusion splicers, OTDR, light attenuation testers, repairing electrical components, and cable line construction skills.

Software Proficiency

• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.

Language Skills

• Proficient in English; proficiency in Chinese is preferred.

Location Preference

• Only candidates from Tharparkar will be given first priority.
