Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is a leading power distribution company in Pakistan, serving over 3.80 million customers with an annual revenue base exceeding Rs. 355 billion. The company operates in six districts: Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal. IESCO is seeking the services of an experienced, dynamic, high-caliber, and result-oriented professional to join its team as Deputy Director (Security). The ideal candidate will be able to undertake the challenging assignment effectively, demonstrating a proactive management style and the capability for the role.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The Deputy Director (Security) will report to the CEO of IESCO and handle all security matters within IESCO. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with respective Heads, Grid/Installation/Store/Divisions in charge for security enforcement.
- Providing technical guidance and assistance on security matters at installations within their zones.
- Supervising Security Inspectors, Sergeants, and Security Guards.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the CEO.
Eligibility Criteria
- Retired Officer of the Armed Forces: Must not be below the rank of Major, preferably Lt. Colonel, specifically from combat corps. The candidate must have an exemplary record and medical category “AYE.”
- Preference: Given to candidates with experience in the relevant field and those not retired/expelled from service on disciplinary grounds.
- Advanced/Basic Intelligence Qualification: Officers with staff/field experience in security/intelligence duties for a minimum of two years are preferred.
Age Limit
Candidates should be up to 55 years old at the time of application.
Pay and Allowance
A lump sum salary/pay equivalent to the initial pay of BPS-18 will be provided.
