Job Profile
- Lead the financial team and ensure appropriate advice is given to the Board on all financial matters.
- Keep proper financial records and accounts.
- Maintain an effective internal financial control system.
- Participate actively in ERP implementation.
- Liaise closely with various stakeholders including auditors, ministries, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company at various forums.
- Deal with regulatory requirements.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong time-management and presentation skills.
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants with at least ten (10) years of post-qualification experience, preferably in public-sector enterprises or private-sector organizations of repute.
- Candidates with energy/power sector experience will be given preference.
- Must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria under the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013 framed under the Companies Act, 2017, and as laid down under the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
Age Limit
Maximum of 55 years as of the last date of submission of the application.
Remuneration
Competitive salary package commensurate with the qualifications and experience.
Tenure
The contract will initially be for three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and job requirements.
