This role is integral to the commercial and procurement functions of our operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Organizing and Summarizing Basic Data
You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and summarizing basic data to support the commercial team’s decision-making processes. This includes data related to procurement, vendor management, and financial transactions.

Procurement Management
As part of your role, you will manage the procurement processes of the company, ensuring that all acquisitions of goods and services are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with various departments to identify procurement needs and ensure that they are met by company policies and standards.

Vendor Management
You will manage vendor relationships according to company policy. This includes the establishment and enlistment of new vendors, ensuring that all vendors meet the company’s quality and compliance standards. Your role will involve negotiating terms and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable agreements for the company.

Sourcing
Your responsibilities will include sourcing activities such as identifying potential vendors, evaluating their capabilities, and enlisting them to meet the company’s procurement needs. You will ensure that all sourcing activities are conducted in line with the company’s policies and standards.

Assisting Day-to-Day Operations
You will assist in the day-to-day matters of procurement and documentation, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing procurement documentation, tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Document Control
You will be responsible for managing document control for commercial, procurement, and related financial invoice matters. This includes ensuring that all documents are accurately recorded, stored, and easily retrievable when needed.

Finance Coordination
You will coordinate with the finance department to handle the submission of invoices and ensure compliance with company policies. This includes verifying the accuracy of invoices, preparing payment requests, and tracking payment status.

Additional Tasks
You will complete other tasks assigned by seniors to support the overall commercial operations. This may include participating in special projects, preparing reports, and providing support to other team members as needed.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Economics, Supply Chain, Finance Management, or any related field is required. Additional certifications in related fields will be considered an advantage.

Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial, procurement, vendor management, and goods sourcing is preferred. Candidates with experience in the natural resources or renewable energy sector will be given preference.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in software skills relevant to commercial and procurement functions is required. Familiarity with industry-standard procurement and financial management software is advantageous.

Language Skills

  • Proficiency in English is mandatory. Candidates with additional proficiency in Chinese will be given preference due to the nature of our business operations.

Financial Handling

  • Candidates should be familiar with handling financial invoices, payments, and statistics. This includes verifying invoice accuracy, preparing payment requests, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
