Training Programs:
- FCPS-II Trainees
- General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Diagnostic Radiology, Neurology
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent, FCPS-I in the relevant specialty. For neurology, only candidates who have completed 2 years of training in general medicine can apply.
- MCPS Trainees
- Anesthesia, Endocrinology, Rheumatology
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent, one year experience in the relevant specialty from a PM&DC-recognized hospital.
- MS/MD Trainees
- Internal Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent, valid certificate of clearance of Part-1 from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University in the relevant specialty.
How to Apply for PGMI Postgraduate Training
Interested candidates must send the prescribed application form along with all required documents to the Executive Director, Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI), Luqman Haqeem Road, G-6/2, Islamabad by courier post.
Required Documents:
- MBBS or equivalent degree.
- Detailed marks sheets of all professional MBBS examinations.
- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
- Certificate of one-year house job training from a recognized hospital by PM&DC.
- Valid PM&DC registration certificate.
- Recent passport-size photo.
- Relevant certificates for FCPS-I, FCPS-II, or MD/MS as applicable.
Note: Candidates applying for multiple training programs must send separate application forms for each program.
