This is under the project titled “Establishment of Research Cell in Energy Department.” Below are the details of the positions available:
1. Energy Research Head
- Number of Posts: 1
- Pay Scale (PPS): 12
- Lumpsum Salary Per Month (PKR): 650,000/-
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Ph.D. or M.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical from a recognized university by HEC with registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.
- Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience for Ph.D. holders or 20 years for M.Sc. holders.
- Experience in policy/regulatory processes in the power sector.
- Public sector experience preferred.
- Age Limit: 45-63 years
2. Tariff Expert
- Number of Posts: 1
- Pay Scale (PPS): 11
- Lumpsum Salary Per Month (PKR): 450,000/-
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant, or MBA (Finance) from a recognized university by HEC.
- Minimum 10 years of experience for CA or 15 years for other qualifications in the relevant field.
- Experience in dealing with tariff-related matters.
- Public sector experience preferred.
- Age Limit: 40-63 years
3. Energy Policy Expert
- Number of Posts: 1
- Pay Scale (PPS): 11
- Lumpsum Salary Per Month (PKR): 450,000/-
- Qualifications & Experience:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical/Mechanical from a recognized university by HEC with registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.
- Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience for M.Sc. holders or 15 years for B.Sc. holders.
- Experience in developing/administering energy policies.
- Public sector experience preferred.
- Age Limit: 40-63 years
4. Oil and Gas Expert
- Number of Posts: 1
- Pay Scale (PPS): 11
- Lumpsum Salary Per Month (PKR): 450,000/-
- Qualifications & Experience:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. (Engineering) in Chemical/Petroleum from a recognized university by HEC with registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.
- Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience for M.Sc. holders or 15 years for B.Sc. holders.
- Experience in regulatory/policy/legal/operational matters in the oil and gas sector.
- Public sector experience preferred.
- Age Limit: 40-63 years
5. Legal Expert
- Number of Posts: 1
- Pay Scale (PPS): 11
- Lumpsum Salary Per Month (PKR): 450,000/-
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Law Graduate from a recognized university by HEC.
- 15 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Experience in dealing with energy sector policies, laws, and regulations.
- Public sector experience preferred.
- Age Limit: 40-63 years
