Position Overview
As the Security Manager at JPCL, you will be responsible for overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety and protection of company assets, personnel, and facilities. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also manage security personnel, conduct security audits, and perform risk assessments. Effective liaison with law enforcement agencies and maintaining accurate security records are also key components of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations Management: Oversee all security operations within JPCL to safeguard company assets, personnel, and facilities.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures to enhance the security posture of the company.
- Personnel Management: Manage, train, and supervise security personnel to ensure high performance and adherence to security protocols.
- Security Audits and Risk Assessments: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
- Liaison with Law Enforcement: Maintain effective communication and coordination with law enforcement agencies as required.
- Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date security records are maintained at all times.

- Military Background: Retired or serving Colonel/Lieutenant Colonel (with 18 to 20 years of commissioned service) or equivalent rank from the Armed Forces.
- Security Management Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in security management.
- Service Record: Only retired officers with an “Exemplary” service record and Medical category “AYE” should apply.
- Disciplinary Record: Candidates who have been retired or expelled due to disciplinary action are not eligible.
- Age Limit: Maximum 55 years as on the last date of application submission.
Remuneration
JPCL offers a competitive market-based lump-sum salary package commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
