Medical Officer (BPS-17)

- Age Limit: 25-28 years
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.
- One year of house job/practical experience is preferable.
General Terms & Conditions
i. Application Process:
- Interested candidates are advised to apply online at the National Job Portal (NJP) website: NJP Online within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
- No application will be entertained by hand.
ii. Shortlisting:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
iii. Age Relaxation:
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be allowed as admissible under the Government Rules.
iv. Age Calculation:
- The minimum and maximum age will be calculated from the closing date of applications.
v. Contract Appointment:
- The contract appointment will be made initially for a period of one year or until the availability of FPSC’s nominees, whichever is earlier. This appointment shall not confer any right to regularization of service after the expiry of the specified contract period.
vi. Verification:
- Information provided in the application forms will be verified in the case of the appointment of the officer. In case of any false or forged information, the Ministry reserves the right to cancel the candidature at any stage (even after employment is revealed) and initiate legal action against the applicant.
vii. Recruitment Process:
- The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions, as well as to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
viii. Employment Policies:
- Employees will be dealt with as per the provisions contained in the contract policy of the Government, as amended from time to time.
ix. Salary Package:
- The salary package will be based on Basic Pay Scales/Government contract policy.
x. Candidates from Government/Semi-Government Sector:
- Candidates serving in the Government/Semi-Government sector may apply through the proper channel.
xi. Travel Allowance:
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview or joining the appointment.
xii. Use of Third-Party Services:
- The District Health Office ICT can utilize the services of hired persons anywhere in DHO-ICT and its attached health facilities.
