About the Position

The Finance Department of the Government of Balochistan is excited to announce the establishment of the Public Private Partnership (B-PPP) Unit, under the Balochistan Public Private Partnership Act, 2021. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Managing Director (MD) on a three-year contractual basis. This crucial role is based in Quetta and falls under the management category within the Finance Department.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Finance
• Economics
• Business Administration
• Project Management
• Membership in a recognized body of Professional Accountants

Experience

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in project management, financial management, financial due diligence, and risk assessment.
• Experience in the public sector, particularly within Balochistan, is highly advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

• Deep understanding of Public Private Partnership (PPP) issues and best practices on an international scale.
• Proven leadership abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a multicultural team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong track record in fostering teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
• Insight into the social, cultural, political, and institutional dynamics of Balochistan is beneficial.

Pay Package

A market-based negotiable package will be offered, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Maximum Age Limit

Candidates should not exceed the age of 55 years.

General Terms and Conditions

Contract Duration

The contract will be for a period of three years.
