Location: Headquarters, G-5/2, Islamabad
Position: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
Educational Background:
- Mandatory: Master’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university.
- Preferred: PhD from an HEC-recognized university.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Information Security Audits, such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), etc., are highly preferred.
Professional Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior positions within Information Security operations and management roles.
- Expertise:
- Strong understanding of national and international regulatory requirements.
- Technological advancements in the industry and international best practices.
- Profound knowledge to steer organizational strategy and align it with NADRA’s vision for Information Security (IS) and Cyber Security (CS).
- Skills:
- Expertise in needs analysis, gap identification, and corrective measures to address identified issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to represent NADRA at local and international forums on IS/CS matters.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage a team of IS professionals.
- Competence in analyzing complex issues, critical thinking, and making informed, timely decisions in critical scenarios.
Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Skills:
- Planning and implementing Data Security frameworks and technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of information management, governance, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
- Development and management of Security Operation Centers, integration with IT infrastructure.
- Experience in developing IT Forensic Investigations Frameworks and Incident Response Mechanisms.
- Operation and management of Cyber Threat Intelligence Platforms.
- Mentorship in software/application vulnerability assessments and network penetration testing.
- Organizational Skills:
- Planning and conducting IS training and awareness activities.
- Collaboration and stakeholder engagement to foster relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring effective policy development and implementation.
- Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement through Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technological risks.
Maximum Age: 56 years
Terms & Conditions:
- The selected professional will initially be hired on a contract basis for a period of 5 years, extendable if required.
