This initiative, conducted in partnership with the Support Agency for Rural and Human Association’s Development (SARHAD), aims to empower bright, low-income students aged 13-20 by equipping them with essential 21st-century life and work skills. The program is fully sponsored by the RELO at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad.
About the Program:
The English Access Scholarship Program is a significant educational initiative designed to offer high-quality English language education and professional development to underserved communities. The program targets bright students from low-income households, helping them gain valuable skills that will aid their personal and professional growth. The curriculum is designed to foster not only language proficiency but also critical thinking, problem-solving, and technological literacy.
Positions Available:
SARHAD is currently seeking dedicated, dynamic, and experienced professionals to fill the following roles:
1. Head Teacher
- Number of Posts: 1
- Salary: PKR 53,000 per month
- Requirements:
- A four-year bachelor’s degree in English Language, Linguistics, Literature, ELT, TESOL, or TEFL. A master’s degree in these fields is preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Specific experience with the Access program is highly desirable.
- Proven excellence in teaching and a dedication to completing the 18-month teaching assignment.
- Willingness to learn and implement new teaching methodologies and participate in professional development activities, seminars, and workshops.
2. English Teacher
- Number of Posts: 5
- Salary: PKR 44,000 per month
- Requirements:
- A four-year bachelor’s degree in English Language, Linguistics, Literature, ELT, TESOL, or TEFL. A master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Proven excellence in teaching.
- Dedication to the 18-month teaching assignment.
- Willingness to learn and apply new teaching methodologies and participate in professional development activities.
3. Computer Teacher
- Number of Posts: 2
- Salary: PKR 44,000 per month
- Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- At least 2-3 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
- Knowledge of freelancing is desired.
Job Details:
- Location: Peshawar, KP
- Program Days: Friday and Saturday
- Contract Hours: 20 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 18 months
