General Conditions & Instructions
Age Relaxation:
- General age relaxation of 5 years has already been included in the age limit.
- An additional 3 years of age relaxation will be admissible to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Buddhist Communities.
- Upper age limit is relaxable up to 10 years for Government/WAPDA employees who have completed 2 years of continuous regular service on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Application Requirements:
- Age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of applications.
- Candidates already serving in WAPDA must apply through WAPDA HR Division and submit the requisite NOC/permission.
- Government employees must apply through the proper channel and submit the requisite NOC/permission.
Document Verification:
- Educational certificates/degrees must be verified from HEC Recognized Universities/Concerns Boards/Institutes.
- Original documents must be presented by the candidates at the time of the interview.
Probation Period:
- The initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of 1 year and regularization is subject to satisfactory performance. Services may be dispensed with without notice in case of unsatisfactory work and conduct during the probation period.
Disqualification:
- Candidates who have been weeded out of service on disciplinary grounds, as well as those dismissed or debarred for future employment, are not eligible to apply.
- WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
No TA/DA:
- No travel allowance or daily allowance will be admissible to candidates for tests or interviews for Job Positions at Water and Power Development Authority WAPDA 2024.
Incomplete Applications:

- Applications must include a complete prescribed application form along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, and relevant documents/experience certificates. Two recent passport size photographs and the original fee Challan should be sent through courier service or Pakistan Post to: Manager Operations (WAPDA), Open Testing Service, Office No.1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
Notifications:
- Candidates will be informed through text message by OTS regarding roll numbers, slips, test centers, test dates, and timings.
- Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be entertained.
