Positions are available at the Program Management Unit (PMU), National Health Support Program (NHSP), Sindh, for the following roles: Public Health Specialist, Surveillance and Research Specialist, Communication Specialist, Financial Management Specialist, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, and Gender-cum-Training Specialist. These positions are for the Health Department, Karachi, Sindh. The required qualifications include MBBS, Master’s, MS, MPhil, or equivalent degrees in relevant fields, with varying experience requirements in health services, program management, and communication.

  • Public Health Specialist (PPS-10)
  • Qualification: MBBS or Master’s in Health Policy Management, Public Health, Healthcare & Hospital Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in health services delivery, program development, or implementation.
  • Surveillance and Research Specialist (PPS-09):
  • Qualification: MBBS or Master’s in Health Policy Management, Health Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience in health program research and surveillance.
  • Communication Specialist (PPS-09):
  • Qualification: Master’s in Media, Communications, Public Administration, or related Social Sciences.
  • Experience: At least 12 years of experience in developing and promoting health messages, including SBCC/IEC materials.
  • Financial Management Specialist (PPS-09):
  • Qualification: Master’s in Finance, Economics, or equivalent, preferably ACCA/CMA.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, audit, or accounts. Prior donor sector project experience is preferred.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist (PPS-09):
  • Qualification: Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, or Public Administration.
  • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research. Experience using programs like SPSS, SAS, or STATA is essential.
  • Gender-cum-Training Specialist (PPS-09):
  • Qualification: Master’s in Gender Studies, Sociology, or Anthropology.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in gender-based violence, grievance management, and related fields. Knowledge of gender-specific strategies and training plans is required.
