Latest National Talent Hunt Program 2024 at IBA University. The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), in collaboration with Sukkur IBA University, announces a fully funded scholarship program for the youth of underprivileged areas in Pakistan, including Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

A total of 340 candidates, selected on a merit-cum-need basis, will be admitted to the Foundation Semester, with the following courses:
- English
- Mathematics
- Information & Communication Technologies (ICT)
Students who secure a minimum GPA of 2.2 in the Foundation Semester will be eligible for admission to undergraduate programs. The top 200 performers will receive fully funded scholarships for four years in the following degree programs:
- BBA (Business Administration)
- BS (Accounting and Finance, Media & Communication, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science with AI specialization)
- B.Ed
- BS (Physical Education & Sports Sciences)
- BE (Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering)
Selection Criteria
- Candidates must have completed Intermediate/F.Sc/A-Level in the years 2022, 2023, or 2024.
- Selection is based on merit-cum-need.
- Applicants from OGDCL-identified districts are eligible.
Scholarship Coverage
- Foundation Semester: Tuition fee, transport charges, books, monthly stipend, hostel facility, and a laptop for outstanding performers.
- Regular Programs: Tuition fee, transport charges, monthly stipend, and hostel facility.
Eligibility Criteria
- For BBA/BS/B.Ed Programs: Minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate/F.Sc in annual exams, with no supplements.
- For BE Programs: Minimum of 60% marks in Intermediate/F.Sc Pre-Engineering/ICS or 3-year DAE in the relevant field, passed in annual exams with no supplements.
- For BS Mathematics Program: Minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate/F.Sc Pre-Engineering or Computer Science.
