The Office of the District & Sessions Judge Karachi East invites applications from eligible candidates to fill the following vacant posts in the District East Sessions Court, Karachi East. This advertisement continues from the office announcements dated 22.12.2020 and 15.06.2023. Candidates must meet the specified requirements for each position.

1. Stenographers (BPS-16)

• Number of Posts: 03
• Minimum Qualifications and Age Limit:
  • Intermediate
  • Typing Speed: 40 WPM
  • Shorthand Speed: 80 WPM
  • Proficiency in MS Office and must possess a certificate of Shorthand from a recognized institution.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 25 years
  • Domicile: Sindh only

2. Junior Clerks (BPS-11)

• Number of Posts: 17
• Minimum Qualifications and Age Limit:
  • Intermediate
  • Typing Speed: 40 WPM
  • Must possess a certificate of MS Office from a recognized institution.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 25 years
  • Domicile: Karachi-East/Korangi only

Procedure to Submit Application

1. Initial Test:

• Conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Service.
• Interested candidates for posts at Sr. No. 1 and 2 must submit online applications at https://apply.sts.net.pk.

1. Application Fee:

• After submitting online applications, download the system-generated Challan of Rs. 1,500.
• Deposit the fee at any branch of ABL Bank Limited (Challan fee is non-refundable).

1. Required Documents:

• For Serial No. 01 & 02: Upload CNIC, Domicile, PRC-D, one recent photograph, NOC (if Government Servant), and academic documents on the STS Online Portal.
  • Candidates with disabilities must upload a CNIC with a wheelchair logo issued by NADRA.
• For Serial No. 03 to 08: Send applications with attested copies of educational documents, CNIC, domicile, PRC, and two passport-sized photographs by post or by hand to the Office of the Honourable District & Sessions Judge, Karachi East on or before 20.06.2024 by 01:00 PM.

1. General Instructions:

• Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• A 5% quota is reserved for candidates with disabilities.
• 20% quota reserved for children of deceased/retired/serving employees of Judicial District East.
• Submit a separate application form for each post if applying for more than one.
• Government servants must apply through the proper channel (the maximum age limit is 30 years).
• Overaged candidates may apply subject to relaxation by the Honourable Chief Justice, Honourable High Court of Sindh, Karachi, if qualified for appointment.
• No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
• Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.
• The decision of the Selection Committee is final.
• The last date for submission of applications: is 20.06.2024.
• Incomplete applications or those without the required documents will be rejected.
• Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Previous applicants based on the advertisements dated 22.12.2020 and 15.06.2023 should not apply again.
