WE ARE HIRING COAL MINE SURVEYOR:

A coal mine surveyor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a coal mine. Their responsibilities involve a combination of surveying, mapping, and data analysis to support mining activities. Here are some of the key responsibilities of a coal mine surveyor:

Main Surveyor Responsibilities:

1. Experienced in field surveying, topographic mapping, ground object survey and data review, deformation point survey, coal seam survey slope inspection, etc.

2. Conduct survey data inspection and map drawing analysis.

3. Sorting, compiling, and archiving the surveying and slope data.

4. Surveying and Mapping:

Conduct precise measurements of the mine’s physical features, such as tunnels, shafts, drifts, and chambers. Create accurate maps and plans of the mine’s layout using specialized surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners. Monitor changes in mine geometry over time to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

5. Marking and Setout:

Mark out mining areas and boundaries for drilling, blasting, and excavation according to mine plans and regulations. Provide accurate coordinates for drilling and blasting operations to maximize coal recovery and minimize waste.

6. Data Collection and Analysis:

Collect data on coal seams, rock strata, and geological conditions to inform mine planning and design. Analyze survey data to calculate volumes of extracted coal and overburden and monitor mining progress. Maintain detailed records of survey data for reference and reporting purposes.

7. Support Mine Planning:

Collaborate with mine engineers and planners to develop short-term and long-term mine plans. Assist in designing and optimizing mining layouts to maximize coal recovery while minimizing costs.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare reports, maps, and charts based on survey data to communicate information to mine management and regulatory authorities.

Keep detailed records of surveys, changes in mine conditions, and any safety incidents. Other tasks assigned by the leaders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors in civil/geology/mining or any relevant field.

2. Min 02 years experience in relevant field.

3. Knowledge of surveying software like AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SURPAC 3DMINE, etc. C

4. Can use GPS or any other tool.

Working experience in a Chinese company or Chinese language speaking will be a plus.
