Position: Project Director
Pay Scale: PPS-10
Contract Duration: One year (extendable)
Age Limit: 40-55 years
Minimum Qualification
- Education:
- 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) or
- M.Sc/MS/M.Phil (equivalent to 18 years of education) in the fields of Civil Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification recognized by HEC/PEC (in the case of Engineering Degrees) from a recognized university/institution.
Minimum Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree (equivalent to 16 years):
- At least 15 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputable public/private organization.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project design, execution/management, project documentation, commodity and materials procurement, consultancy, and contractor supervision.
- Preparation of periodic and other reports.
- M.Sc/MS/M.Phil (equivalent to 18 years):
- At least 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputable public/private organization.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project design, execution/management, project documentation, commodity and materials procurement, consultancy, and contractor supervision.
- Preparation of periodic and other reports.
- Additional Requirements:
- Candidates should also be well-versed in PEC, PPA, BPPRA, Planning Commission, Finance, Project Management, and other government rules/procedures prescribed for the implementation of development projects.
Application Instructions
1. Document Submission:
- All candidates are required to submit one set of all documents including the application form, copies of degrees, result cards, transcripts, certificates, and experience certificates along with recent passport size photographs.
- In all cases, certificates from the employers must support the statement of experience.
2. Application Fee:
- The application must be accompanied by a bank draft or banker’s cheque of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of the University of Gwadar.
3. Government Employees:
- Candidates already serving in a government/semi-government department or an autonomous body must apply through the proper channel.
4. Shortlisting:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.
5. Late Applications:
- Applications received after the last date will not be entertained, even if posted before the last date.
- Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
6. Age Relaxation:
- Age relaxation can be considered on the basis of experience and according to rules.
7. Submission Method:
- Applications must be sent to the Office of the Registrar, University of Gwadar, by hand or by courier services.
- The application for “Project Director” must be written on the envelope.
