Positions with Qualifications
IT Specialist / Officer – Coal Mining Industry:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2+ years’ experience in IT support, system administration, and network management
- Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and IT troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows/Linux servers, firewalls, and VPNs
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Chinese will be preferred
- Candidates from Tharparkar will be given first priority
Responsibilities
- Support IT department and services for Thar and Karachi offices
- Configure, manage, and monitor network services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
- Provide technical support for laptops, mobiles, VPN issues, printers, and scanners
- Manage PABX, IP Phones, and SIP Phone lines
- Coordinate with vendors, manage IT equipment procurement, and maintain inventory records
- Ensure network security and resolve issues with Internet service providers
- Coordinate office operations and backup admin colleagues when required
